The greatest asset in the world at the moment is your creative mind. Do you know why? Everyone is fundamentally destined to create. We exist as makers from the yawns we make in the morning to the last positions we hunch into when we crawl back into bed at night. The automobile the airplane the jet pack (which has yet to be commercialized) and the telephone are just a few of the amazing inventions that have occurred in the last millennium due to our global prominence.
We seem to have limitless capabilities with our minds. It sounds like something epic doesnt it? To put it mildly very few people truly go above and beyond what they think is possible to create such amazing technological marvels. You and I are among the many other creators who have a tendency to produce only enough to survive: we have created alternate routes when traffic is too heavy written essays to pass in class and made up stories to avoid being fired. It appears that our curiosity has left the building.
The majority of people only produce in the sense that they are feeding preexisting mechanisms. so that rather than surpassing the status quo we can preserve it. Thus we are spared the criticism that accompanies having a novel idea. In order to avoid stepping on other peoples toes. Who would have guessed that a blog which was initially thought to be a place to discuss daily topics could become a means of launching a movement?

The following are my top ten tips in no specific order.
1. Observe the creative endeavors of others. Seeing someone in a creative state can greatly inspire others to achieve the same. In the aforementioned link this girl literally creates amazing works of art using just a few handfuls of sand. Your creative process can be sparked just by observing someone else at work.
Additionally you can listen to lectures and read interviews that highlight the lessons of creative individuals. You might as well enter their minds if you wish to become an earth-shaking creator. 2. Get sketching. Brain barf all over the page to add depth and variety to your ideas.
Your potential is severely limited by the fact that your mind is far bigger than you realize. Go ahead and do whatever you want. Draw anything you want. Sing while your voice breaks or your lyrics are illogical. Freestyle until your creativity can no longer be stretched.
Compose an entirely nonsensical tale that would leave even you perplexed. You are not constrained by social stigmas or boundaries. Doodle as hard as you can buddy. 3. Take a nap to allow yourself to dream freely.
I believe you have heard of free-dreaming. When you go to sleep with the specific goal of dreaming that is. Even though most people cant control their dreams its a fantastic way to get creative nirvana. An hour or so is recommended. Try lucid dreaming if you want to dream in a more interactive way.
Although I havent done it Ive heard its fairly good. Google it to see if it would be worth the experience. 4. Visit a museum of art. Having a distinct sense of creativity is not exclusive to you.
A wonderful way to see what other people have produced is to visit art museums. In addition it incorporates a small amount of shock value. There is always at least one piece that leaves me wondering How the hell is THAT art? whenever I visit an art museum. 5.
Enjoy reading a lot of high-quality fiction. The power of reading a good story should never be understated. They appeal to your emotions pull at your heartstrings and most importantly offer unique perspectives on the same concepts. The best thing is that there are a ton of books to choose from. Great reads range from the humorous Harry Potter books to the contentious works by Ayn Rand.
Naturally you shouldnt devote all of your time to it. Recall that we are creators. * Bonus: Have a place to think. Finding a peaceful place to simply think is the best thing you can do to unleash your creative potential if the above suggestions dont work. A place free from friends noise and other unnecessary distractions can significantly boost your idea productivity.
Dont hesitate to create the next masterpiece. You should now have the freedom to develop and create in your mind.
